Maxima Leader Material

Over 50 years ago, my father first encountered Maxima through a salesman with DFS in Toronto. He introduced it to the Miramichi at a time when tippet materials were notoriously weak and inconsistent. We spent a lot of time over the counter demonstrating Maxima's remarkable knot strength and, before long, anglers came to recognize Maxima's combination of stiffness and abrasion resistance as being ideally suited for salmon fishing applications. It has been a favourite on the Miramichi ever since.
